
Mommy Reporter on Wii FIt
I just purchased Wii Fit a week ago and so far, I’ve worked out (or played) for seven days straight. I have never been so motivated to get moving since I’ve had my baby 15 months ago. The second night after I bought it, I was actually looking forward to working out with it the next day. I even had dreams of me doing the hula hoop game. Now I must admit, every day that I’ve used the Wii Fit has not been a hardcore, sweaty, heart-pumping workout, but it has consistently gotten me moving everyday for a week, and for that I am so very grateful. My goal is to lose about 15 pounds that have stubbornly found a semi-permanent home on hips, butt, and thighs. I am trying to use the “slight edge” theory that if I do a little each day, over time I will have achieved a much larger accomplishment than if I had done only a few days of massive working out. I am also trying to create a new habit. I’m doing all I can to learn how to get the best results using my Wii Fit. If I can keep up this program for 21 days straight, hopefully I will have developed a new habit and my body will “crave” exercise… that’s the idea anyway. So I will periodically post updates on my blog from time to time, at least once a week, to keep readers informed of my progress, challenges, and bodily changes. I will document my journey of losing weight using my Wii Fit and hopefully inspire others who want to have a more active lifestyle to do so too. Thanks for reading, stay tuned for more!
