Wii Fit Journey – Week 2

When I did my body test last night, my little Mii jumped and cheered as it told me that I was on my 14th day. Yes, I have not missed a day of working out (playing) on my Wii Fit for two straight weeks. You’d think I’d be more excited about that, but I’m not. My weight has not changed at all, in fact, I gained a little under two pounds. Sure, I’m happy that I’m more active but, my real goal is to lose weight.

I know what the problem is… it’s my eating. Granted I’m not eating tons of junk, but I am eating the wrong foods. Boxed cereal, fast food, frozen pizzas, and of course, cookies every once in a while, are my main weapons of destruction. I guess the good thing is that I haven’t gained more than two pounds, but I really need to do better. I will give myself a tiny goal to achieve this week: Clean out the fridge and eat some type of vegetables or a salad at least five times this week. Oh, and NO SUGAR. I think I can handle that. I’ll let ya know how it goes…

Good luck! Let us know how it goes. I havne’t tried Wii as exercise yet… I’m not very coordinated (instead I take wateraerobics with a bunch of ladies who are 30+ years older than I am – it fits my level of coordination!)

Good Luck to you. Don’t stress it. I started jogging after three years of no exercise WHATSOEVER. A month straight and nothing. Just as I was about to give up, (I missed two days, only jogged three one week and nothing for five days), I put on a formerly tight skirt and it fit loosely. But I hadn’t lost anything on the scale. Google it- you will see your weight go up when you first start working out because you are building up muscle mass.

Don’t stress it at all, and don’t stop. : )
