Friday, October 30th, 2009
If your little ones are fans of PBS Sprout, get ready for some fun and special highlights to keep the kids entertained and ready to be thankful.
First up, tomorrow on Halloween night, a very special episode of the Good Night Show will air featuring Nina and Star celebrating Halloween. They will play dress-up games, read Halloween stories, and view Sproutlet-submitted drawings and costume pictures. There will also be Halloween episodes of your favorite shows like Calliou, The Berenstain Bears, and Kipper. The Good Night Show airs every night from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET.
Then, starting on Monday, Sprout will begin taking online submissions for a Thanksgiving Day on-screen crawl from Sproutlet viewers saying what they’re thankful for. Read more about PBS Sprout’s Thanksgiving programming and upload your message here.
Also in November, Sprout offers a variety of kids’ crafts to keep little hands busy. Sproutlets can help decorate and prepare for the big Thanksgiving Day feast by making placecards, napkin rings, and those cute little hand turkeys.
