Although it was announced earlier this month, Baby Trend, the California based baby gear company, has filed for bankruptcy reorganization. Baby Trend is the maker behind the popular Snap-n-Go stroller frame that accomodates practically any baby carrier. It appears that the bankruptcy was the next logical step after a former employee sued Baby Trend for royalties owed to him for the Sit-N-Stand stroller. The employee won an $8.4 million judgement. As of now, the company continues to sell, ship, and sevice its products, but insiders say the company could reorganize and operate under a new name.
