As a busy, stay-at-home mom, I usually don’t wear too much makeup… and I rarely wear perfume. But when I received a sample of Leslie Blodgett’s new fragrance, I decided to “dab myself a little something” and see the reaction. You know Leslie, right…? She’s the mastermind makeup diva behind the Bare Escentuals and Bare Minerals Makeup empire. Her new scent called “Bare Skin” is a fresh clean, yet sensual experience… I know, I know… it sounds cliche, but it’s true, and that’s the most accurate way for me to describe it. I am not one who wears heavy perfumes, and I prefer clean-smelling, subtle fragrances that don’t give me a headache. The nice thing about this new scent is that it’s simple enough for everyday wear. It’s not one of those super extravagant perfumes that I would feel guilty wearing on a trip to the grocery store. The real test that gave Leslie’s fragrance a thumbs up for me was my son… he is super sensitive to scented products and he didn’t even seem to notice that his mommy had anything on. It may not sound like it, but that is a really, really good thing…
