I was in a Kmart store this past weekend and when I entered, I was invited to sit and listen to a short presentation on its new service “mygofer.com.” It’s basically an online shopping assistant that lets you shop and make purchases online, and then you can pickup your items at your nearby Kmart store in as little as three hours.
I was really jazzed by this new service because this can really make life easier for me. It is very similar to Wal-Mart’s “site-to-store” feature, but mygofer.com also has unadvertised specials and discounts on everyday store prices.
