Filled with delicious and healthy meals, the The $5 Dinner Mom Cookbook: 200 Recipes for Quick, Delicious, and Nourishing Meals That Are Easy on the Budget and a Snap to Prepare is slated to be released tomorrow, December 22, 2009. Considering this is such a helpful and unique resource, I’m actually kinda surprised that the release date for this book was not sooner so that it could be given away as a Christmas gift. Whatever the case may be, this book by Erin Chase is one mom’s answer to frugal and budget-friendly meal planning. Even though I haven’t seen the book yet, I have checked out the $5 Dinner Mom website and found it very interesting. I do plan on purchasing the book however, because I really want to learn how to shop and prepare meals for my family that are not too expensive or complicated. I know I can learn a lot from someone like Erin who offers tips and techniques for shopping and couponing, and she even has cooking tutorials. Do you plan on buying the book? Do you have any secrets for cheap and healthy eating at home? I’d love to hear your thoughts…
