News alert: Apple introduces iPad

For all the wannabe techie moms like me, this is breaking news… check out the clip below.

Apparently, this new iPad is going to be stiff competition for Kindle.  It’s like an iPhone only bigger with a full keyboard.  It can also run all of the iPhone apps, as well as games and even has drawing and painting capabilities.  It only weighs 1.5 pounds so it will also be competing against netbooks.  The retail price for an iPad starts at $499.  Visit the official iPad page for more information.
