Money Monday: Suburban Dollar

I literally just stumbled upon this blog this morning and I was so intrigued by it, I spent at least a good hour devouring its useful, practical, and family-related money advice.  SuburbanDollar.com has quickly become my favorite money blog right now.  I can’t tell you how jazzed I am about sharing this site with you… and in case you’re wondering, I am NOT a friend of Kyle’s (the author of the blog), we are NOT doing a mutual link exchange, and he did NOT pay me or offer me anything in exchange for writing about his blog.  I am just a single mom who’s a new fan of his work.  As a matter of fact, he has no idea that I’m recommending his blog to my readers right now.

Kyle’s blog offers insight and information on everything from investing, being frugal, career guidance, and even some real estate tidbits that are written from a non-investor perspective.  I think my favorite pages on the blog are the Rate List and Income pages where he offers tons of practical, real-life advice and ancedotes on saving money and how to make money.  I could probably go on and on about the value I see in regularly reading Kyle’s blog, but I won’t.  But if you do want a genuine perspective on money and finances from a “typical American dad” take the time to check out SuburbanDollar.com, I promise you won’t be disappointed.
