It will be titled “I Just Want You to Know: Letters to My Kids on Love, Faith, and Family” written by reality tv star mom, Kate Gosselin. Scheduled for release this April by Zondervan publishers, this book will pick up where her last book “Multiple Blessings” ended. Today’s press release states that this book ”will contain excerpts, prayers, and memories from Kate’s journal, offering an intimate look at the heart of a mother during the three years her family transitioned from obscurity into the national spotlight.”
I have always had mixed feelings about Kate Gosselin. On the one hand, I admire her for raising eight children and then dealing with the chaos of a public divorce, but then on the other hand, I feel that those children were exploited to some degree in exchange for money and fame, and I know I’m not alone when I say I feel this way. I also think it’s interesting that Zondervan, a Christian publisher, is behind this new book. I can’t say that I agree with their statement that “her faith has been an integral part of her life…” but who am I to judge? So what do you think? Will you buy Kate Gosselin’s new book? Let me know your thoughts…
