I don’t know any mom, or any person really, who doesn’t love receiving nice things in the mail, especially flowers. I recently received an organic fruit basket from Cherry Moon Farms courtesy of ProFlowers.com. I chose the fruit basket because I am really big on eating fresh fruit everyday. I’ve had a bit of experience with receiving organic fruit in the mail and I really enjoy the convenience of the home delivery. I have to say that I was really impressed with the quality of the fruit sent. Not only was it packaged really well and each piece of fruit wrapped individually, but the fruits were really large pieces. In the organic fruit basket, I received:
6 bananas, 4 kiwis, 2 large Fuji apples, 2 pears, and 2 oranges.
One of the apples is missing in the picture because I ate it. But these fruits were delicious! I have subscribed to other organic fruit of the month clubs and not only is this a great way to get more fruit into your life, but the anticipation of knowing that you will have some yummy fruit arriving at your door is enough to give you a serious fruit craving. The fruit is 100 percent certified organic with a note inside that explains how “organic farming supports the respects the environment, while helping independent family farms.” Sounds good to me… I will definitely choose this again, and I think this makes a much healthier (but just as lovely) gift than flowers.
